2001 FINN B260 STRAW BLOWER W/ STRAIGHT PULL TRAILER

"Nearly new in condition.  Only 106 hours in service. Stored in covered location.  Features a John Deere Tier III Diesel 4045T (4.5 liter) 125 hp Turbo engine.  Bigger than any option you can buy now new from Finn. Biggest engine Finn sells now is a 72 hp Yanmar. 30 inch diameter fan develops velocities greater than 185 mph. Hydraulic powered conveyor feed tray with variable speed, height and length.  15 cu. ft. beater chamber.  6 inch heavy duty channel frame and trailer with 6,000 lb capacity axle. Weight is 4,800 lbs. Plus new operator's seat and two new high weight capacity tires.  Also replaced ball bearings in 360 degrees rotational top.  It turn smoothly with little effort. Added customization includes modifying feed tray, adding worker platform and safty back railing, and snout on the end of the discharge tube for blowing straw through a though lay-flat flexible tube.  300 ft. long tub included."

 

Not pictured is the new replacement seat (installed already) and a new oil pressure guage and water temperature guage. (See photos)  These will be given to the new owner.

 

One item that still needs to be repaired are two hinges on a small access door that have rusted.  This door opens to the chains on the fan inside that help chop up the bales of straw. The rusted hinges can be cut off and new ones welded back on. I would have fixed it but I did not have my welder with me the last time I was at the machine.
